Approved Recruitment Agencies

The Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 provides that a Licence Holder may seek the assistance of a private sector recruitment agency with some of the tasks associated with the recruitment process.

In line with this legislative provision the Commission is required to publish a list of Approved Recruitment Agencies who are listed on the Register of Licenced Employment Agencies maintained by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and have provided a Statement of Compliance confirming that they will adhere to the standards and principles in the Commission's Code of Practice with regard to recruitment for appointment to positions in the Public Service.

It is important to note that the Commission has no role in regard to the tendering process a Licence Holder may use for selecting the services of a recruitment agency.
